CASINO - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. CASINO[1] is a quantum Monte Carlo program developed by the Theory of Condensed Matter group at the Cavendish Laboratory in Cambridge. CASINO can be used to perform variational quantum Monte Carlo and diffusion quantum Monte Carlo calculations for both periodic and non- periodic systems. The principal authors of this program are R. J. Needs, M. D. Towler, N. D. Drummond and P. Lopez Rios. See also[edit]References[edit]^R. J. Needs, M. D. Towler, N. D. Drummond and P. Lopez Rios, J. Phys.: Condens. Matter 2. 2, 0. 23.
